Chillers are widely used for many industrial
applications throughout the world. A chiller comprises four essential
components, namely, evaporator, compressor, condenser as well, as an expansion

glycol chillers are also prevalent in metal finishing operations. Temperature
control remains an integral part of different metal finishing processes such as
electroless plating or electroplating. Such a process helps to remove excess
heat. Apart from air-cooled glycol chillers, metal-finishing chillers are also
used mainly in this industry for better application.
3. Another widespread use of an air-cooled glycol chiller is observed in injection molding. This process refers
to a mass-production technique used to create plastic parts. It often uses an
injection-molding machine, mold, and thermoplastic pellets. As the procedure
requires precise temperature limits, the use of chillers makes it easy and also
prevents issues such as warping, cracking, or internal stresses in the final
product.
